| Anne Marie Granau's repertoire covers a wide range of orchestral, operatic, contemporary as well as vocal music. She has work in both the UK and in Denmark.
In the UK Anne Marie collaborated with Woodhouse Opera (Cunning Little Vixen), British Youth Opera (Eugeny Onegin), Contemporary Consort, Britten International Opera School (Ravel's 2 operas), Jane Manning (Pierrot Lunaire) and Bernard Haitink (assisting on Bruckner's 9th Symphony and Te Deum). She prepared orchestras for Bernard Haitink, Vasily Petrenko, Sir Roger Norrington, Andrew Litton and Christopher Warren-Green.
In Denmark Anne Marie worked with Opera Nord, Ars Nova Copenhagen and Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. She assisted Thomas Dausgaard, chief conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, conducted the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Danish Youth SO in the Sydney Opera House. She was also chief conductor of the DUSIKA Youth SO (county of Copenhagen). In Russia Anne Marie conducted the St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonics.
AM graduated as a scholar from Royal College of Music, London in orchestral conducting (with Neil Thomson). She also has a degree in conducting from the Conductors’ Class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music (with Dan-Olof Stenlund and Frans Rasmussen).
AM participated in masterclasses with such renowned conductors as Bernard Haitink, Marin Alsop, Leif Segerstam, Alexandr Polischcuk and Helmuth Rilling.
Anne Marie has received numerous Danish awards.
