Carrie was born in Asia and spent all her early childhood there, before moving to Ireland and then England, where she grew up. She has also lived in Italy and Germany.
Her grandfather was an Irish classical singer and he first encouraged her to sing. Carrie also began acting, dancing and modelling. She started her professional career in her mid-teens and since then has not stopped working!
Her voice is trained by Mary Hammond of the Royal Academy of Music, and she has also trained with opera singer Alma Ceasari in Bel Canto singing.
Carrie loves to travel and has performed as a soloist at top stage and concert venues in London, the UK and Europe. Recently she sang to open the London film premiere of Mattel and Universal Pictures’ new animated film “The Princess and the Pauper”.
As well as being an exciting young recording artist, Carrie is an actress with a subtle, intriguing and charismatic presence both onstage and onscreen. She has now appeared on screen in four continents and has just finished filming a lead role in an African feature film. She has lead roles in two feature films (one UK and one US) coming up in 2005. Carrie is currently working with a team of writers and producers both in the UK and in the States, and has just returned from recording a single in New York.
Carrie's hobbies, aside from singing, include dancing, playing the piano, sports and keeping fit, travelling, sightseeing and meeting new people. She loves to learn and is fascinated by other countries and cultures. Carrie is also interested in learning all she can about every aspect of her business.
