Bethany was born in 1991 in Guernsey, Channel Islands. She begun playing the flute and violin at the age of 6 and percussion at the age of 10. Aged 13, she gained three grade 8 distinctions. In 2000, Bethany played all three instruments in the National Children's Orchestra and last year was a reserve for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. She has recently received her second grant from the BBC. Bethany now attends the Purcell School under a government music and dance scholarship, studying with Anna Pope and Peter Beament. |
