Wolfgang Plagge
Wolfgang Plagge is born in Oslo, Norway, to Dutch parents in 1960. He started playing the piano, as well as writing his first compositions at the age of four. He had his first work published aged twelve, and the same year he made a sensational debut as concert pianist, with HM King Olav V present at the concert. Wolfgang Plagge has since then steadily developed into a mature, original and prolific creative artist. His oevre span from liturgic music to symphonic works, and chamber music as well as piano music occupy a central part of his production. He has a specific interest in wind instruments, and has written a number of important works for woodwind and brass in various chamber music constellations.
