Melanie Rothman is an oboist and harpsichordist. She was principal oboe of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in 2008 and 2009 and a woodwind finalist of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition 2008. She now holds a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, London.
